JUNE 26TH

Been busy getting ready for the Silverdale and Arnside Art Trail which is now taking place and despite the weather the turn out is extremely good. I shall look forward to next week though getting back into my painting and drawing.

APRIL 4TH

Where has the sun gone...I was painting Spring flowers now I feel like I should be painting autumn leaves!

MARCH 13TH

I have been concentrating on the Nude but not rude section hugely but am now venturing into the more traditional paintings to add as a section to my exhibition. I am still doing abstracts and enjoying the variety. I have added a few new paintings so take a look! Gill BB

MARCH 7TH

The Nude but not Rude paintings seem to becoming the most popular. I believe a mix of these, photographs, abstract and traditional should go into the exhibition. Have met one other artist in the area and look forward to meeting a few more. GBB

FEBRUARY 28TH

February 14th

I shall be spending this week exploring more of a new style that I have been trying which involves more brush strokes and perhaps trying out less abstract paintings. I shall post some on the site if they work.

February 7th

Last week went well with the painting but not the admin! The new paintings for the Nude but Rude section went well and something I want to continue this week BUT I must get them photographed and onto the website. I would also like some good sunsets this week so I can go out and photograph them but the weather is very wet and windy and not condusive to broken cloud cover which gives the best sunsets.

THIS WEEK JANUARY 31ST

This week I need to concentrate on getting some more paintings photographed to put on the website but I am so desperate to paint all week! Just had a sale of my postcards as well from the Books and Gifts section.

Nude but not Rude section

I have done a very successful addition to the 'Nude but not Rude' section which is in a flowing tactile style and monochrome. I shall embark on my next painting using the same technique today but in a larger format of 1000 x 1000mm canvas.

MID JANUARY

The New Year has bought more inspiration on different subjects. I am working on more of my 'Nude but not Rude' section and am also thinking about putting some pencil drawings onto the website. Not sure whether to do more metre by metre canvas paintings as these are very effective.

The start of 2011

Having started the New Year with flu I am happy to be back in the saddle of life again. This year I want to be like a Phoenix from the Flames and find myself again. Last year was a sorting year and involved alot of administration in all forms including setting up my website wallartwallart.com. This year I want to be creative and productive. I hope to do alot of artwork over the next few months and try and add to the variety of work I am producing. I shall also be aiming to get myself known as an artist and intend to be more gregarious.
